Hey Everyone
I’m Christoph E. and currently working at SMS group in Mönchengladbach, although I’m from Cologne.
I’ve been working in IT since the early 2000s – starting in classic IT administration, then moving into communications as a Technical Evangelist, with a short detour into the games industry. Since 2018, I’ve fully transitioned into Information security – first as a consultant, trainer, and in social engineering at HvS, and now internally at SMS group.
What I’m most looking forward to in this community is exchanging ideas and experiences with others who face similar challenges, and being able to contribute by helping others with their issues.
In my free time, I enjoy playing pen-and-paper role-playing games – especially Shadowrun. That game has, in many ways, prepared me more for my current job than my formal education and studies ever did!
